Germany may not be the most popular destination in Europe but it surely has some great sights. A lot of cities like elsewhere in Europe suffered a lot during the war, however, there are some jewels of architecture throughout the whole country : Munich, Dresden, Tubingen, Esslingen have much to offer with their rich historical past. Berlin is a fascinating place, and walking around wondering whether it used to be East or West Berlin. Stuttgart does not have much of a old center left, but the surrounding hills, forest, vineyards offer wonderfull views. Nearby Ludwigsburg is like a small Versailles and is not to be missed.
